The Munich Springfest (known locally as Frühlingsfest) is often thought of as Oktoberfest’s little sister. You know, the one who loves to drink beer in the sun and is always up for some Spring Break shenanigans. That’s her. That’s Munich Springfest.

You’ll stay in the best accommodation available; both our hotels are just a few minutes walk from the festival grounds. That means your cozy bed is never more than a stumble away after a night inside the beer tents.

Our hotels are also just a short walk from all the other important stuff: the main train station, ATMs, grocery stores, restaurants, laundromats, and much more.

Professional tour guides

All of our Springfest tours are led by experienced and knowledgable tour guides who stay with your group throughout your entire Munich Springfest experience. They are fully equipped to make sure you have the best experience possible and always on hand to answer questions, help you navigate Munich and the Wiesn, and advise you on anything else you may need while you’re with us.

You will have a chance to meet them online ahead of the tour and then again in person at each of the pre-tour meet-and-greets.

Day 1: Meet and Greet & VIP Beer Tent Reservations

At the start of your tour you’ll attend a meet-and-greet in your hotel lobby where you can get to know your tour guides and fellow drinking buddies you’ll share this bucket list experience with. You’ll also get all the Springfest information you’ll need including our full tour schedule, VIP wristbands, contact information, and the Thirsty Swagman welcome pack.

Afterwards, you’ll head to the festival to enjoy your VIP beer tent reservations at one of the two big beer tents.

You’ll have reservations in both tents during your Springfest experience, and we’ll confirm which tent we’re in for each night in January. Your exclusive beer tent reservations have allocated tables and include food and beer vouchers.

Day 2: VIP Beer Tent Reservations

You have beer tent reservations again! The second day of the tour begins around 4pm where we’ll start our night of evening beer tent reservations at one of the 2 big tents: the Hippodrom or the Festhalle Bayernland.

Day 3: Explore more of the festival

Day three of your Munich Springfest experience is all about checking out the rest of the festival: the rides, the vendors, the whole thing. If we’re blessed with great weather, our guides will take you to some of the festival’s beer gardens to relax and enjoy a liter in the sunshine.

Day 4: Check-out from hotel

Sadly, you’ll check out of your hotel today (with tears in your eyes, of course). You’ve raised beers at one of the coolest beer festivals in Germany – PROST to you!

Just because your Springfest Munich tours experience is over doesn’t mean the fun has to end. Many of our tour-takers follow up their Springfest experience with more time in town, exploring some of the amazing things to see and do in Munich, or catching a train to explore more of Europe. And many times they join us again in September for Oktoberfest!
